Thank you very much. For some people, they might say “study” rather than “doodle,” but I don’t think what I’m doing is all that serious. The drawing also did not take very long and I was watching tv at the same time, so . . . “doodle.” And thank you for the compliment.
Hiya! Great drawing as usual Aaron. I see you’re now playing in the digital space with Wacom. Funnily enoigh I was just snooping around the Wacom onlineshop, but my budget only allows for an Intuios and I dn’t thinkI could get ued to drawingon a tablet, but seeingon the computer screen.

It is, but it is also a practice exercise. The fun thing about these Star Trek studies is that I don’t have an instructor hovering around behind my back ripping me apart. I suppose the way I felt (relaxed enjoyment) made me feel as if this were a doodle. Doodles are supposed to be fun after all.
Well..if what you’re doing is a doodle, show me what you consider more serious than a doodle because I must say, I take this to be some extremely, seriously, good work!! That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!! LOL!! I mean it!!
What is amazing is YOUR talent! Please keep it up! You have a ‘captive’ audience, believe me!! I find myself coming back to see what new work you’ve done! And I am never disappointed!
Great doodles! I always got in trouble for doodling in school, probably should have doodled more. 🙂
I haven’t. If I had done the same drawing by hand, it would have gone faster and had fewer classical rendering problems. Right now, I just learning a tool I’ve only had for a month or so now. With this one, I just gritted my teeth and pushed my way through.
Ahhhhh!!!! Thank you, Aaron!!!!
That’s a treat!
🙂
Thank you so much, Marina. I am glad you like it.
That is an amazing doodle.. Love it

Wonderfully done. Needless to add, Kirk is the greatest Star Ship Captain!
Absolutely! None of the others come close.

I bought a Wacom Splash. I got it on sale for fifty dollars at Best Buy. Not too bad and within budget . . . so, nice.
As for drawing and not looking at the pen . . . that took and is taking some getting used to.
Wow, well your drawing doesn’t look like you’re having trouble! Excellent stuff
Marti 🙂
Marti, you are of course way too kind! 😀
Wow – this is really impressive work, Aaron. 🙂 But I can’t stop imagining him singing ‘Rocket Man’, lol! 🙂
Awesome. I love that song. I was thinking of “99 Red Balloons” as I was drawing this. As always, you are way too nice!
Kirk’s the finest captain Starfleet ever had.
I agree 100%!
‘Captain Kirk’ would love to see this!! Great work!!
Thank you very much much! I hope he would.
Oh, he most definitely would! You should be famous!
talented.
Thank you very much!
I would also like to state that your work is so much more than a ‘doodle’!! Most definitely!

Me too . . . all the way through college and at work, too.
Excellent. Iwish I could master digital drawing.
