Thanks Marina! Yeah, I have a lot to learn about using. It definitely works more like a brush than a pen. It’s fun to use though and fast, which is nice. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate it!
Sexy? Well, Gen Sherman was a redhead. I bet your life is hectic and if I’m following your blog correctly, chasing your tail is not bad exercise if you’re on a diet.
I’m using PhotoShop Elements. I can’t afford the full CS6 Suite, so the cheap stuff will have to do. I’m having a lot of fun and difficulty as well. The skills I’ve developed after years of traditional media (painting, drawing, ink and cartooning) are helping, but are also an impediment sometimes. I’ll figure it out. Thank you also for the compliment. General Sherman, for all his ruthlessness, was one of my favorite Civil War figures.
If my sister had been a boy, this would have been her name.
Lol . . . Awesome!
Here’s a link to some of my other comics: http://echo4kilo.wordpress.com/
First one?!!! Wow!
Great going, Aaron!
[using the same one and I now wonder how I worked all those years without it!!!!]
🙂

Ok – is it weird if I say this is quite a sexy sketch? 🙂
I’ve been missing your blog. Life is just so hectic right now, I’m chasing my tail all the time! lol!

Hi, Aaron! I’ve just bought a Wacom tablet as well. Still learning. Which software do you use while drawing with it?
Anyway, great portrait of General Sherman!

I also use free software as Inkscape, although it has many limitations. I’ve always been fascinated by the figure of Ulysses S. Grant.
