This political cartoon was drawn with a Fine Point Sharpie, lettered with a Micron Pen no. 1, sketched out with a Sharpie Accent Smear Guard highlighter & colored and edited in PhotoShop Elements. The paper is Bienfang 8 1/2×11″ 50lb Sketch. To keep the lines parallel for lettering, I used an Ames Lettering Guide and pre-lettered with a mechanical pencil containing HB lead. There were six scans: 1) lettering, 2) line drawing, 3-6) color layers. Everything was drawn on one sheet of paper. The scans were performed as I added more sharpie ink.
