      • LOL, thank you so much Mr Ogre! πŸ˜‰

So funny, today my man text me to tell me about the Disney/Star Wars thing and, for once, I was able to say “Yeah, that’s old news baby!” So thank you! πŸ™‚

      • It is always good to out-geek someone. I knew before my roommates, both of which own complete stormtrooper uniforms (I don’t, of course, I’m saving for a better scanner and a color laser-printer).

  1. Wow……. I wonder how it will turn out.. Hmh….. It sounds interesting. πŸ˜›

Yea, and my response to watching those two videos was: “Wut?!”, “What am I watching”, “What the-“, and some laughing at random intervals. Especially the Han Solo one. My God. πŸ˜„

  2. Well, after Avengers, I’m willing to give this new Star Wars film the benefit of the doubt. At least Disney will probably make a new TV show and a lot more games. (Probably say goodbye to the current tv show though) I think this is mostly great for Indiana Jones though (Since it was basically dead)

    • I think Disney will keep Star Wars true to its roots better than Lucas could. Sentimentality and fan-appeasement are their business. I hope there will be more Indiana Jones movies, but I don’t know it Harrison Ford has many left in him or even the interest. We’ll have to see, but I am a little worried about seeing Spiderman, Kermit the Frog and Jar Jar Binks all in the same day if I ever visit Disney Land.

    • After considerable thought, I think buying Lucas Films was a great move by Disney and for the fans. Disney is great at recognizing the needs of fans and keeping them happy, otherwise the theme parks would be empty.

  3. I’m willing to give these new films and the new Mickey management a chance. I have a real soft spot for Disney anyway so we’ll see what happens. Nothing can undo the utter enjoyment of the original three for me though.

    • That’s right. When I was a little kid and my grandpa took me and my brothers to see the original, I became a hardcore Star Wars fan and all the new stuff pales. My kids fell in love with the new ones. Star Wars is epic in scale. I know Disney can handle it.
