It’s the Great Pumpkin

The big loser in the debates and television is non-ideological coverage and punditry. I think objectivity is mythological mush like Charlie Brown’s Great Pumpkin, but ideological suppression for the polite sake of others is. The bitter zealotry of the partisans is disgusting.

This picture was sketched while substituting at Assembly. Everyone else was working on Frankenstein puppets.

(This comic is a divergent: drawn with Bic ball point pen–the ten to a dollar pack, sketched with orange highlighter and colored, edited & lettered in PhotoShop Elements)

  1. You can get really nice lines with Bic Crystal pens. I used to have a co-worker who did this at the register when the store was slow. I know that’s not the point of the post…

    • No, I love drawing with Bics and would do it more often, but Photoshop hates it. The drawing took me thirty minutes, but editing in Photoshop took an hour and a half. If Photoshop did not argue so much, I would use Bics more often.
