This is Justice Scalia. He is one of the most popular justices with the American Political Left. Yup, they just love him.
I have been thinking a lot about the upcoming health care judgement from the Supreme Court. The news is getting electric with anticipation of the judgement. Fox news has run a story about it every day on their slash-page this last week. Conservatives was it gone and liberals aren’t sure except that it doesn’t go far enough except that is a good start. Justice Scalia is expected to vote conservative, but the supreme court is extremely unpredictable. I side with the liberals on this one, but who cares about that. The election year bloodbath is just about to start with this ruling one way or the other.
The Ogre works as a call-center phone-monkey. He would eventually love to work as a commercial illustrator or self-sufficient webcomic. The Ogre loves many things and hates few, however he has issues with almost everything (mostly because he has issues--he's started having acne around and on his nose and sitting place again). The Ogre is forty-somethin' flippy years old for goodness sakes and is loosing his mind.

You caught the arrogance and disdain he seems to have for those below him or those that don’t think/believe as he does.
Thank you very much, he does sometimes come off as a sanctimonious prick sometimes. However, there are times when he is damn funny. People expect humor from the conservative side of the bench, so they take his sarcasm at face value and get insulted. That’s what happens when one acts like a jerk all the time.
True about the jerk part.
I do like his laugh though.
When it’s about something funny and not sarcastic.
It sounds like it comes from the belly.
